I already miss Betty White immeasurably.
What this world needs now is more Betty White.
And more cowbell.
Off the top lemme say if we can’t have a laugh, sing a song or have a good, cleansing cry at the end of the day life’s not worth living. I seek out the laughs and songs and lean into the tears to hold space, witness and remember.
You don’t need to know where I went to school or where I have worked to know who I am, but if you know my family you know me.
I am descended from the Nation of Israel/Judea by way of (among others) Rega, 🇱🇻 , Jhitomer, 🇷🇺/🇺🇦 , Philipoppoli/Plovdiv, Beirut, 🇱🇧 and some 🇮🇪/🏴 mixed in for genetic health balance ;)
Lived in San Francisco, Scarsdale, Kaiserslautern, Ramat Aviv, Larchmont, Kaiserswerth, Madison Park, Montlake, Vashon and West Seattle, the most beautiful neighborhood in the city, IMO.
I’m an Ashkephardic left-handed, old-school bleeding heart liberal neurodivergent unregulated empath (ie: I can’t finish anything, but I’ll drop anything for a good, passionate conversation, research rabbit hole or to lend an ear or a shoulder) currently living in the PNW Diaspora, consciously exploring de-assimilation and voraciously learning all the things I don’t yet know and unlearning the things that need unlearning.
