🌠JOIN ME in making a difference! With 22STARS my Ugandan partners and me want to change how charity is done by focusing on entrepreneurship, local leadership and education for the whole community. Our projects are run by our Ugandan team in the field. I am doing the story telling, project management and fundraising. 🇺🇬🇳🇱The 22STARS Foundation is set up as Public Benefit Organisation (Anbi) in the Netherlands and my Ugandan friends Susan and Aidah set it up as a CBO in Uganda.
My current projects:

- Updating our Ugandan paper-jewellery store

🌍 I was born in Germany from German/Italian parents, but moved to the Netherlands with my mom when I was 6. I always felt a bit an outsider. And hence after finishing my studies in International Law in 2010, I started to live and work abroad, eventually ending up with a nomadic lifestyle. Because of the challenges I faced, but also the privileges I received, I felt a strong urge to give back. When Susan and Aidah asked me to jump on the wagon and help them empowering their community, I said YES!! 22STARS was born!
💓Thanks to my nomad lifestyle I re-connected with my dad and live with him now a few months a year! The other months I live with my team in Uganda and I enjoy being with my digital nomad friends.💰I receive money by renting out several apartments I inherited, and decided to live low key, which enables me to focus pro bono on 22STARS and help and inspire other people wherever I can.
