African born in 🇱🇷 and living in the US. I am here to learn and decolonize my mind of western-centered worldview. We must do this to unify and reclaim our continent. Together the global majority can change this world BUT it will require unity. Educator working in Maryland. Long-Term investor and member of an Investment Club.
A Case for Community-Led African American History
—in 1944 Torah Umesorah was founded to expand the number of Jewish day schools. These schools were established in great numbers after World War II in the US and other countries because of disenchantment with public schools. They focus on teaching Jewish history Hebrew language Yiddish and secular Jewish culture and Zionism.
