✴️Tech-loving grandmom with two grandkids 👧🏻🤴 ❤️who love gaming and math aged 5 and 6. They want to read 🔠and spend hours out of school on apps and with me improving their skills. Math 🔢feels natural to them. I am a trained science type and qualified teacher, and my son is a geologist holding a Masters in Geology. My daughter is a legal student. I am a stay at homer, early retiree with 30 years of experience in academia. The home is a centre where learning is celebrated.
✴️Venturing from academia into tech and agritech. 👩🏼🌾📺📡More to follow as I update my knowledge and skills . Would love to be invited to rooms on CH with these foci.
✴️My academic interest spans higher education, internationalisation, STEM, science and math Ed.
✴️My social responsibility is an NPO -substance abuse and life skills rehab in Cape Town, South Africa. It was the place of Hope started by my recently deceased husband . It focuses on life skills, education and entrepreneurial training. 💰📫My dream is to find sponsors to buy the property I am renting.
✴️I want to offer more to the community as there is a huge need . We need to build on the property to house 🏠women 👩🦰who need a second chance. This costs. We want to focus on prevention and advise on trade tests and other further education opportunities and jobs.
