An over-credentialed Cassandra (BA, USC, MSc, London School of Economics, JD, Harvard Law School) with a career bridging technology, politics & government, academia, Hollywood & media, & our future.
My work has ranged from researching algorithmic bias for corporate megaliths to teaching Social Design at the MIT Media Lab to demanding & developing accountability systems to building support networks for trauma survivors to writing & producing stories. And I was once a partner in a grilled cheese restaurant (@grilledcheese).
Currently doing my best to do everything & anything I can to help save the notion of our democracy & the rule of law—& to include all of us in our own narratives & restore the folks our system excludes by design & intention—& to hold ourselves & each other accountable—& to build what I call “redistributive justice”:)
Sidenote: since I care too much about being understood: my criticism is not cynicism—I am critical because I care & believe that we can all always do better, especially with encouragement!
