I am an experienced theatre director, and I recently started teaching drama and improv comedy to kids. I plan to get back into acting and directing after this pandemic is behind us. *knock wood* In the meantime, my current job as a Front Line Worker in the field of Childcare has been an awesome way for me to further my experience teaching a variety of subjects: from Physical Literacy Skills (throwing, catching, hand eye coordination, overall physical fitness skills, etc.) to Visual Art exercises and collaboration, to Theatre Acting (both scripted work and improv comedy).

Further thoughts: Kids are our future, and I have been finding it so rewarding to work in a field where I have an ability to support, guide, mentor, teach, laugh with, and encourage creativity and growth, with children. I also consciously remain a curious person, impressed by the natural empathy of so many children (which definitely requires nurturing and encouragement, but that ability is already innately in kids).
Random artsy hobbies, that I do not have pro level skills in: Playing Ukulele, Singing, Dancing, and Music Composition. (Scroll back to the top to see what I can do at a pro level.)
I'm also a new gardener! This is my first spring and summer renting a garden plot, and it feels like one big experiment. I'm pretty excited to be growing and eating my own fruits and veggies!
