Welcome to the Narcissistic Abuse Awareness Network (NAAN)

Narcissistic abuse is described as one of the most challenging forms of abuse to overcome, but don’t let this deter you. Though it is true that the healing journey can be a long and difficult road, you don’t have to go through it alone. We are here. Together. And we CAN heal!

This club is for those who have been targeted by a narcissist, sociopath, psychopath, etc. It’s a safe space to share our stories, love, and kindness - to learn, grow, heal, and help each other to overcome. We host telesummits and events for the community throughout the year. For weekly support rooms, please DM for highly recommended clubs to join.

We also recognize the importance of awareness and advocating to change the systems that attempt to silence and invalidate our experiences. “But there’s no way they have the disorder because it’s sooo rare!” or “There’s no way they are abusing you, they are such an upstanding citizen!!” Sound familiar? The legal system hasn’t a clue and many mental health practitioners don’t either. In fact, the majority of people don’t know the true nature of these disorders or the red flags to look for (admittedly, we didn’t either at one point). All of this and more enables the abuser to quickly move from one unsuspecting victim to the next, completely unchecked.

We are in need of massive, systemic, and global re-education efforts. There is much work to be done on this front, but together we are a force for good. 💜

Safety & Well-Being on CH:

As CH is a public SM platform, it’s impossible to guarantee you won’t encounter bad actors since abusers, predators, and scammers can use SM to disguise their true nature and intentions with relative ease. The NAAN Club admins, leaders, mods, and hosts make it a priority to maintain a safe environment in our rooms, but please know that this is also a community effort - we need all eyes and ears to keep it as safe as possible. Please be sure to practice techniques for maintaining your own personal safety as well. One of the most important things we learn through the experience with a narcissist is to always trust our intuition and recognize the red flags. If anyone in the community is exhibiting warning signs, please let us know.
