Inventor, craftsman, and seeker of philosophy, Hans Jørgen Wiberg is the founder of what has grown to be the world biggest community of blind and low vision people. As a TEDx speaker and singularity University Alumni, he is regarded as a leading voice on the movement towards embracing accessibility and inclusivity for those living with vision impairments.
Hans invented and founded Be My Eyes, an app that connects blind and visually impaired people with sighted volunteers and company experts from around the world via live video connection. Be My Eyes has quickly become a daily tool used by thousands of people experiencing challenges with their sight to receive fast, effective visual support.
As a non-tech-oriented, visually impaired app founder, the experience of leading a global micro-volunteering accessibility revolution has been an exciting learning experience for Hans. Hans can convey and inspire through storytelling and insightful lecture to promote accessibility among companies and individuals alike.
