🎸 Tazeen Ayub is a Detroit singer-songwriter, guitarist, and community organizer.
🎶 She plays with her partner in their Afro Spirit-Jazz ensemble, LuFuki and Divine Providence. Their first album, Inner Horizons, is available on Spotify and other streaming sites.
🕌 Tazeen is the co-director of the Detroit chapter of GAMA (Gathering All Muslim Artists), a national arts advocacy nonprofit and is also the co-founder of the Sanctuary of Sound, a venue which hosts spiritual music and meditation sessions.
🎙 She is an open mic host in Detroit and the host of her show, Digging Deeper, where she discusses art, spirituality, and activism with local artists of various genres.

👩🏽🏫 During the day, Tazeen is a tenured professor of Arabic at Henry Ford College and holds a Masters of Arts in Arabic from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
