Description
A club for anyone interested in learning about the modern framework of emotional intelligence from the perspective of Islam by studying the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, the most emotionally intelligent human being in all of existence. He said: “The basis of reasoning, after faith in God, is loving kindness towards people. (At-Tabarani). In other words, emotional intelligence is the highest form of intelligence. :)

We will examine his life, his words, & his teachings while extracting lessons that relate to the five qualities of EI.

The qualities we will cover are based on Daniel Goleman’s work where he identified the five qualities of EI as:
1️⃣ Self-awareness 2️⃣ Self-regulation
3️⃣ Motivation 4️⃣ Empathy
5️⃣ Social Skills
