Eco Materialist using natural materials to engage in sustainability and make visible women’s unseen labor.
I make process based drawings, collages, paintings, prints, installations. Integrating colors and textures of the natural world with the routines of my daily life, my work seeks to integrate life and art.
Influenced by ancient art and post minimal artists like Eva Hesse, Harmony Hammond and Susan Rothenberg, my work is pared down to its basic elements.
I have attended Vermont Studios, Artist Residency in Johnson Vermont in 2009 and the Ora Lerma Charitable Trust Foundation in Pennsylvania in 2009.
