Since my mom, Ellen Jane, died suddenly in the summer of 1993 of a brain aneurism at 50, I have believed that grief stories and loss need a better place to live in modern society. I started the circle for us. Companies come to me to craft Bereavement Leave programs, policy and best practices.

Barri facilitates workshops and gatherings that explore ways to remember and reflect on the lives of loved ones as we navigate the long arc of loss, together.
