I have been investing in stocks and trading options since 2006. I now trade full-time as my profession. I enjoy making money from the markets, and I enjoy helping other people make money as well.
The smartest minds and the most powerful computers in the world strategize to extract money from the markets. I have learned that there are relatively simple option trading strategies that regular people can employ to generate income from the markets in a risk-limited way.
Much of successful investing has to do with controlling your own emotions. After making every possible trading mistake at least 10 or 20 times I have learned what works for me personally. I can teach you the basic strategies, and how to figure out what works for you.
My background:
For 14 years I was a Managing Partner of Highbridge Capital, one of the biggest global hedge fund firms in the world. I helped build Highbridge from a $45 million assets under management, 7 person firm in January of 2003 to a $16 billion dollar assets under management 235 person firm in 2006.
I co-founded in 2006 CounselWorks LLC, a business strategy and regulatory consulting firm which advised hedge funds, investment advisers and venture capital firms. CounselWorks had 30 employees and over 200 clients. In 2016 we sold CounselWorks to Duff & Phelps.
In 2016 I was hired by Robertson Stephens in San Francisco as Chief Operating Officer of Robertson Stephens Asset Management to organize private equity funds and to launch an alternative investments platform.
In 2013 I founded Opesbridge Opportunities LLC, a hedge fund specializing in options trading.
In 2010 I conducted for the United States Securities and Exchange Commission an educational seminar providing an overview of prominent hedge fund strategies. In 2011 I conducted for the SEC a seminar on statistical arbitrage and high frequency trading.
I have served as a guest lecturer to two classes in the Economics Department of UCLA. I have given lectures to the Investments class on hedge fund strategies and options trading, and to the Industrial Organizations class on the financial crisis of 2008.
