Actor, poet, writer, and lyricist moved to Florida from London in 2011. Prior to her move, she was involved with and collaborated with many cultural and educational organizations in the United Kingdom.
Soheila’s acting carrier includes roles in a number of theatrical performances as well as a small role in the award-winning movie, “For a Moment Freedom”.
Her novel, “A Journey to Starland” was published in 2005, in the United Kingdom. She has also published a collection of her poems in 2007 and 2010.
In 2012, Soheila met musician Reza Filsoofi and they started to collaborate in different events and venues. A few months later, Soheila created (wrote and directed) a play based on her poems, called Old Table Clock. This musical play was a collaboration with Reza Filsoofi and Roshana Nofret and was performed in Miami, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. In 2015, they went on tour with the same play in California.
Soheila has been involved in several exhibitions in West Palm Beach (Lantana Library and Lake Worth Art center).
She has also written lyrics for a number of Iranian singers, such as Rana Farhan, Sara Naieni, Jasmine Kara, Mahan Moin, Indigo Dreamers and Faravaz.
In February 2018, Soheila acted in a one woman show called “I am a Her” based on her autobiography called “A Journey to Starland”, which was written and directed by Ana Bayat at Heidelberg’s Iranian Theater Festival.
In 2019, Soheila joined a professional theatre group in Warsaw (Poland) to act in a musical performance based on one of her short story called, “The Sparrow is Still Here”.
