I’m introverted 😐
🇵🇰 heritage / 🇺🇸 citizen
Things I have learned since joining club house:
- people are into reinforcing their values is in echo chambers more than I thought
- both sides of any given controversial issue have a couple of things in common but — generally unhappy about circumstances but crazy divergent on why things are bad
- hearing dissenting credible opinions get shut down by room leaders in real time — a persons tone and delivery reveals a lot about them, so much more than a tweet or blog post
- a person is bullshitting when they can’t / won’t bring up specific, verifiable examples to prove their point — less examples = more bullshit
- people started putting sponsored content in the title of their rooms — influencer marketing is too desperate nowadays
- people who do well on Insta come off awkward on club house — probably a reason for this
- intelligent, arrogant, social climbers who come to the wrong conclusion are dangerous people; they are also the most delusional and stubborn
- “giving space” to hear out the other side no matter how uncomfortable it feels Is a *good* thing and only shitty people disagree
- pro vax people who are earnestly trying to convince anti vax people to get vaccinated are getting exhausted - they’re giving up. I worry about this.
