ANY OTHER TYPE OF LOYALTY IS A BETRAYAL of لله ورسوله (ie qabiil, nationalism, gender)
“O People who Believe! Do not betray Allah and His Noble Messenger.” (Surah Al’ Anfal: 27)
Loving or being loyal to any person, for a reason other than for the sake of Allah (azza wa jal) is a waste of your dunya & akhirah:
Abdullah b. Mas’ud, the great companion of the Prophet ﷺ, said:
The Prophet ﷺ said to me: O ‘Abdallah b. Mas’ud! I said three times: “Here I am O Messenger of Allah.” He said: “Do you know which bond of Imaan is the strongest?” I said: “Allah and His Messenger know best.” He said: “The strongest Imaan is the loyalty for Allah’s sake, by loving and hating for Allah’s sake…”
The hadith of Anas (ra) reported by al-Bukhari states that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
None of you will taste the sweetness of Imaan until a man does not love a person except for Allah’s sake.

Surah 16 An-Nahl, Ayat 36-36
وَلَـقَدۡ بَعَثۡنَا فِىۡ كُلِّ اُمَّةٍ رَّسُوۡلًا اَنِ اعۡبُدُوا اللّٰهَ وَاجۡتَنِبُوا الطَّاغُوۡتَۚ فَمِنۡهُمۡ مَّنۡ هَدَى اللّٰهُ وَمِنۡهُمۡ مَّنۡ حَقَّتۡ عَلَيۡهِ الضَّلٰلَةُ ؕ فَسِيۡرُوۡا فِىۡ الۡاَرۡضِ فَانْظُرُوۡا كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الۡمُكَذِّبِيۡنَ ﴾16:36
(16:36) “We surely sent a messenger to every community, saying, “Worship Allah and shun false gods.” But some of them were guided by Allah, while others were destined to stray. So travel throughout the land and see the fate of the deniers!”
