Muslim’s In Focus is true to it’s name. We keep the rooms concise, short, and focused. My intention for this club has always been to have the tough talks that we shy away from as Muslim’s. We have real issues that call for real solutions! That being said, we will at times disagree. Do so with respect for others and keep it classy. Let’s talk and build!
Respect: Discuss anything with manners. Disagreements are welcomed as long as there is respect with an even tone of voice.
Generalizations: Your experiences are your own. Try to stay away from words like “Always” “Never” and “All”. Example: “All men are bad, They are always the source of the worlds problems”.
Speaking: Don’t speak over or interrupt others. Whatever u have to say isn’t more important than anyone else. Your turn to speak will come. Also, please don’t carry on speaking for long periods of time
