About the jobs:
After his formative years in the Italian creative industry, from ItalDesign Giugiaro to Euro RSCG Milano, Marco contributed to the future-driven approach at Philips Design where he directed in 1999-2009 foresight programs and branding services. In 2010-2016 he has been the Research Principal, Urban Futures, for Signify, and a consultant for corporations, small medium enterprises and fine arts foundations.
Since 1995, he has been invited to contribute to academic courses, seminars and events at institutes ranging from Vancouver Island University to the School of Design of Politecnico di Milano, and including Wharton Business School; the UNAM Post-graduate School of Architecture of Mexico City; and Art Center College of Design Pasadena (US). He holds a PhD in Behavioral and Social Sciences, a university degree (equivalent MSc) in Humanities and a diploma in Electronics.
He published four books with Palgrave, Gower/Ashgate, Taylor Francis and EMAP. He is the author of more than 20 scientific papers and more than 50 editorial contributions. He has been editor in chief with Giancarlo Politi Editore, the publisher of Flash Art International.
Since 2003, is an advisor of Istituto Internazionale di Studi sul Futurismo, the fine arts and design foundation programming FuturDome, the uniquely multipurpose early 1900s building in the heart of Milan.
