FundingTheGlobalGoals.tv is a club dedicated to discussing and driving the necessary system innovation in finance required to meaningfully address the SDGs globally.

An integral part of the vision for Transform Global (a plan to create a global Sustainable Innovation and Development Bank), this clubhouse group shares its name with a soon to launch multi format media platform with a truly exciting and bold objective.

The mission is to Move Money to Where it can Better Serve People and Planet Globally.

Starting with a three times a week room hosted by Steve Podmore entitled ‘System Innovation in Finance to Fund the Global Goals’ (Sunday 08.00 GMT : Tuesday 22.00 GMT : Thursday 22.00 GMT) the aim is to also host many thematic groups focussed on the financial innovation in policy, practice and professionalism required to move the needle on how the word funds activity that can contribute to a better world, and defund activity that does the opposite.

Proposals for rooms are welcome from those with an aligned mindset, relevant domain expertise, coupled with the bold open minds required to drive innovation in ESG, SRI, TBLI, Active Impact Investing and all things related to FundingTheGlobalGoals. Club Guidelines.

While the club welcomes all - the focus is very much about driving system innovation in finance in a way that it can have maximum positive impact on some of the most important issues in the world. This means the conversation will get technical at times - and therefor is not meant to be a finance 101. That said, it is also about ensuring innovative fund and platform designs, and innovation and policy interventions do not forget or ignore the entrepreneurs on the ground who they are meant to help.
