Independentism and statism
Independentism refers to the broad desire within a nation to build and run a national state. When this desire, ie statism, becomes a social voice and society speaks about it, and it also appears as a political direction and people gather around this desire, it becomes a discourse of independence. Independentism means participating in this discourse. Based on this, statism is the master signifier of independentism and that state must definitely be independent and have national sovereignty because independence as the essence of independentism must be clearly reflected in statism in order to be recognized as independentism. Statism does not mean autonomy, federalism or any kind of local authority, but as a sovereign state with 1. Territory 2. Population. 3. Unity 4. Institutional Government. The institutional duties of the state are to build an army and security system, an education system, a tax and financial system. Within this framework, the people of this nation are educated as national subjects with agency in order to reproduce in a ceaseless flow. The totality of this package is nation-building and statehood known as nationalism.
