🔭 Astronomy. Carl Sagan was my doctoral thesis advisor 1968-1972. He was amazing to me before he was famous. He inspired me to do what I do now. He explained astronomy. I do that as well (but not as well).
I host a room called “Ask Dr. Laird your ‘stupid’ astronomy questions“. It’s Tuesdays, 11:00 pm, US Eastern, most weeks, and always fun.
