Hiya! My name is Eryqa and I am the creator and CEO of Ebony Queens Rising Movement. So happy you found me! Let me tell you a bit about myself. I am a wife, mother of two beautiful girls, and I am a Godpreneur meaning I run a Christ-driven Marketplace Ministry. I support Black Mamas in finding their purpose again outside of being a housewife/SAHM while embracing themselves as Queens 👸🏿! Allies we need you!
I desired to change the generational patterns of trauma/victimization both from within and outside our community of Black Women which often displays itself through mental health issues of varying degrees. I wanted to dispel the notion that struggling with your mind or experiencing trauma meant that God was against you, and that you had “demons”. I knew in my heart, soul, spirit, AND the written word that this was a lie! Of course, there is a spiritual element to any of these experiences, but you are NEVER at fault when someone chooses to target you! As a victor or sexual abuse myself I was absolutely certain that once a Black Women harnessed her power she was unstoppable! I also knew that not overcoming meant my loving relationship with my husband would suffer. I desired to be an example that Black Love is beautiful, strong, and one of the most powerful forces on earth. The enemy of all our souls works to destroy the family unit. I vowed to display that not every black home is a broken one. That a father and mother could and would stay together to build a legacy for their kids.
Let’s unite to create the ultimate space where we can attain a positive mindset and erase the stigma of mental illness, so we can start thriving as a community. This is the only way to start creating financial freedom, wealth, and generational wealth for our people. It starts with our women. Let’s come together so that Black People have a voice!
