Friday, May 28, at 4pm the SAVE THE ELDER OAKS room, sponsored by Climate Change and the Just Transition Club, started by Dr. Shelly D., the longest running 24/7 Social and Eco Justice room on Clubhouse, moved to our new home in the Global Tree Alliance Club.
The tree sit (in) started Monday March 1. We were committed to holding space for all like minded people and all trees - especially the oaks, any endangered old growth forests, and, for Mother Earth.
Here on Turtle Island, the San Carlos N’de Apache continue to struggle to save Oak Flat and Apache Leap, a traditional sacred site, from decimation by corporate copper mining interests. We support them in their struggle. Tlazohcamati - Thank you. 🌳
