Worked as a musician and an artist since the early 1990s and as a gestalt therapist since the late 1990s. Often find myself in the odd discussion about the state of contemporary art.
In therapy, I work with the assumption that shame is a core emotion in all our human endeavors. That is: relations are at the core of life, both in the concrete sense where you, me, and the people we are around affect and may I say—even define who we are (at least to some extent). But relations are also important in a more abstract sense; information is "a difference that makes a difference" as Bateson puts it, and so relations are at the heart of all there is. (Dependent origination etc)
I'm also:
ENFP
high in openness, low in conscientiousness
Trying to embrace as much as possible of what it means to be human.
Fascinated by the existential angst I experience when staring into the abyss.
