My name is a throwback to X-mas = Christmas so “Christian” & if you were thinking it was a Chinese name, I am actually Korean and my Korean name is 오 주 환 - I am an imagineering consultant and an enabler of connections.
Asian American adoptee advocate, not an adoptee but I can relate and have lots of friends who are. Also supporting those who are on the spectrum.
I have attended almost every school named George - George Mason, George Washington and Georgetown. One B.A, Two Masters, and ABD but I also have a Documentary Film degree. Graduate Certificates in International Business and Marketing. And I have lots of Certifications for ServiceNow.
I am one of the co-founders of Kollaboration DC back in 2010 and then went back to Film Festivals in 2014.
I❤️ creatives and I personally manage artists (IG me if you are interested in them - two rappers (one of them is a Korean American Adoptee (Heesun Lee) and another POC named Doctrinn) and two DJs (DJ Moobek and DJ Ganzi) a multi-talented singer, rapper, gamer/cosplayer named Mochi, and another singer (Dave Tauler) who sings in Korean, Spanish and English).
I have spoken on the history of Korean Pop Culture and have executed KPop concerts like Jay Park and Miss Trot more recently here in the DC Metro area. Moderated and spoke at KCON for a bunch of years. I was a part of NetKAL IV and have history with NAAAP-DC, Sejong Society and other APA orgs. I am also an old school b-boy and vinyl DJ. So still a sneakerhead and vinyl collector.
I currently serve as Board Chair for two different film festivals in the DC metro area. DC Shorts and DC Asian Pacific American Film.
