Kashmir was not India. Kashmir was not Pakistan. Kashmir was not even Kashmir. It was a casualty. Like the women's body in the wars of men. Her body is the land they seek. And when they can't have it, they force themselves. And now and again, here and there, the law lets them. Because the law is of the land, but not for the land owners. History was all that mattered. But the little history is little cared for, little people and their little pains cannot be seen in the words of treaties and letters exchanged between big men. Let them know that land and women are not for conquest.
