What is Sex Education?..
Sex education is a programme which educates & informs young individuals about sex, sexual health, sexuality, & sexual rights in an appropriate manner. It increases their awareness about their own body & that of the opposite gender.
Sex education should be mandatory, medically accurate & taught throughout student's school year, just like math. It's been shown to help students, not to hurt. Sex education helps people gain the information, skills & motivation to make healthy decisions about Sex & Sexuality.
Sex education has positive effects, including increasing young people's knowledge and improving their attitudes related to sexual & reproductive health & behaviors. Sex education in or out schools does not increase sexual activity, sexual risk taking behaviour or HIV infection rates.
The programs that cover a board range of Topics :
- Human Development, including reproduction, puberty, sexual orientation, & gender identity.
- Relationships, including families, friendships, & romantic relationships.
- Personal Skills, including communication, negotiation & decision-making.
- Sexual Behavior, including abstinence (is the decision not to have sexual intercourse) & sexuality throughout life.
- Sexual Health, including sexually transmitted diseases & pregnancy.
- Society & Culture, including gender roles, diversity, and sexuality in the media.
As part of sex education, a class called "living skills", students of both the genders were taugh together not just about Sex, but also consent, connecting emotionally, sexual health, and about safe Sex practices.

KIDS NEED COMPREHENSIVE SEX EDUCATION!!..
- Starting sex education at a young age can normalize a taboo subject.
- It curbs the spread of misinformation around sex & sexuality.
- It also helps to decrease cases of sexual abuse.
- It can help to build healthy, respectful attitude towards sex & sexuality.
