Served 13 years for the USAF & DoD. Got up close & personal w asymmetric warfare; disease, food scarcity, climate security (and how all three play into power & diplomacy); the militarization of space; quantum computing; metacognition & human performance optimization.
I wanted to understand the human condition, systems of society we create and cling to, and how it all plays out through social patterns + greater cosmic loops.
Was at the top of my game, brokering media deals for the Pentagon in NYC, when I began to experience what I can only describe as “psychedelic”migraines.
After months of docs experimenting w pharmaceuticals, I lost speech, my condition worsened & I continued to develop symptoms that mimicked ischemic strokes.
Having stumped my docs at NYU, I decided to return to the natural plant medicines I grew up around as a native Tejana & first turned to cannabis.
Found instant relief. Haven’t looked back.
Once we connected the dots of my service, the VA realized my deployment to Afghanistan had led to an autoimmune condition resulting in neuropathic damage to the nerves of my hands, legs, feet as well as a “fraying” of neural wires in my brain.
Cannabis combined w optimized, healthy living repaired that damage. Within months I had regained full speech and improved significantly in cognitive performance.
Now I’m building Highly Enformed, a cannabis / psychedelic education platform centered on total wellness, mindset, and human performance optimization. Using every penny Uncle Sam invested in me, to work for you, bring voice to our stories, & greater focus to the cannabis collective.
When I’m not sharing your stories, I’m hard at work fighting to destigmatize the plant, legalize TX, and bridge the gap between legacy & legal market operators. Ultimately, the goal is to develop self-made opportunity zones & cannabis co-ops for other BIPOC women, vets, and legacy entrepreneurs. Collective wealth and abundance grows when we invest in each other. 🧿
