The Red Chair Project
A quote by Rumi, one of Dr. Rain’s favorite poets says,“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, There Is a field. I’ll meet you there.” That is what she generates as she takes her red chairs to farmer’s markets, parks,and any public place where people gather. She invites anyone and everyone to sit with her and share whatever they want to or need to say. Dr. Rain often asks the question, “What would you say if the world were listening to you?” She engenders an easy rapport which allows her to engage people from ages 6 to 93,(so far), who enthusiastically share the most intimate details of their lives.
