Bio

I'm an artist; mostly oil paintings lately. I am a member of some art collectives and am a gallerist (yes, brick and mortar). My husband and I are raising a multi-species family which includes our beloved young human. I happen to be ordained online as a Minister and this allowed me to declare my husband a Jedi Knight. My husband grew up on a Minnesota dairy farm that is still in the family; whereas I on the other hand was born and raised in Minneapolis. (We currently reside in St. Paul, MN.)

"El Midwest: Canto Al Pueblo"
Historic mural I (Rafferty) helped restore in 2010. Video link above highlights this historic mural (originally by Pablo Basques in 1979; restored in mosaic in 2010 -mural was blessed by members of the Comanche tribe). Video about mural restoration in 2010, search on YouTube "El Midwest: Canto Al Pueblo". Muralist Greta McClain (owner of Goodspace Murals) was involved in the restoration.

I've painted Divine Mercy Jesus & Our Lady of Guadalupe using Holy Water yet I'm friends with Andres Serrano.

Once years ago, when I asked my acupuncture doctor for advice on treating my insomnia, his advice was to go get medical textbooks and try to research potential cures for cancer - this was to treat my insomnia. Now I take care of a beloved member of my family who has a recent cancer diagnosis. Meanwhile, we continue on with our art and dreams. Let's keep these conversations going and find solutions together. At minimum, let's be loving and kind to one another, share good food, support each other's dreams, and laugh along the way when we can. Hope your day is going well!
