Los Angeles-based investor, passionate about sustainability, cultural conservation, and quality of life. I have a wide range of interests, chief among them indigenous sovereignty, politics, agriculture, medicine, psychedelic research and drug policy reform, and space exploration. I’m an advocate for universal basic income.

My angel investments include Golden (www.goldenvolunteer.com), the world’s leading platform for discovering volunteer opportunities and managing volunteer programs, and Loowatt (www.loowatt.com), a London-based startup that is bringing safe, affordable, and sustainable waterless sanitation to those who need it most. We’re now expanding in Madagascar, the Philippines, and South Africa. I love connecting with fellow impact investors, social entrepreneurs, and those with shared philanthropic interests.

I’m interested in conversations that help us transcend our political and cultural divides so that we may address shared challenges and build a much more humane, inclusive, and sustainable economy. I want to help construct a discourse that honors and empowers those who do the hard work of building the movements that make political and social change possible without playing into the partisan and tribal divides that are undermining democracies worldwide. I’m particularly interested in new regulatory frameworks and business models that can repair our dangerously dysfunctional information ecosystem.
