A space to connect with: those of us from the Middle East & North Africa, with those who live/grew up in MENA, or those who have an interest in MENA and would like to get to know some locals. Come join our conversations!
MENAPT countries consist of Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates, Yemen, Palestine/Israel, Turkey, and include many countries in the Arab League. Pakistan and the Greater Middle East are also on the list.
We discuss everything from Startups, Entrepreneurship, and Science to Governance, Education Reform, and Legislation. Our conversations touch upon how the region is moving towards a knowledge economy, focused on innovation and mastery across fields from technology to clean energy and renewable resources. And how it is minimising its overall dependence on Oil.
We look at the importance of identity, maintaining heritage and understanding history from the cultural, religious and socioeconomic aspects is. Within the middle east, Mental health and wellness is becoming less of a taboo, and more of a crucial talking point. We try to hold all rooms with experts, government officials, and skilled authorities on the panels.
