When most people think of HR, they think of the process, payroll, and policies. They’re worried someone is going to get them in trouble. That’s not what I do. I’m not the principals office, and my team is here to create safety and to help. Always.
I want to change HR and People Ops’ reputation at my company and yours. I want our teams to be thoughtful, impactful people in a career journey, not just processors. I want to see talent departments that are known for thoughtful thank you notes, consideration, and empathy.
Changing our reputation starts with changing our attitude and understanding our influence every day on someone’s life. We have the opportunity to make work exceptional and values mean something. I do that by creating experiences and company cultures where people thrive.
