not only pink and blue exists to grow generations of equals.
We are changing buying behaviour that perpetuates stereotypes, challenging stereotyped communications and supporting all parents regardless of gender; together we can drive real change.
We’re focusing on three main areas:
1. Our directory of independent businesses where all products are for all children on notonlypinkandblue.com is driving change to buying behaviour from default boy/girl because this only offers a selection of products to the consumer and these often reinforce stereotypes
2. Encouraging shared parental leave through a programme that places the knowledge of parenting with all parents (not only mothers) that employers offer their employees as part of an enhanced parental leave offering *recruiting for the pilot now*
3. Redefine the way we communicate to children, especially in advertising to remove and combat stereotypes that are so pervasive.
