Computational linguist doing a PHD on linguistic augmentation of models for detecting figurative language, particularly interested in hyperbole. Professional interests: Computational metaphor and hyberbole detection, lexical semantics, knowledge representations and ontologies, low-resource languages, discourse and pragmatics.
Semi-professional: Formal logic, information theory, cognitive linguistics, ethical AI etc.
Personal: conlanging, singing/playing the piano, models of human behavior, climbing, mad science (yes, I might elaborate on request.)
