Writer-CNF| Memorist| DNA Detective
I am currently writing a memoir of finding my birth parents and genetic relatives via an Ancestry DNA test and how it changed me. Searching for my origins didn't mean I rejectected my adoptive family. But not knowing the truth was painful. I didn't feel comfortable sharing it.
Two years ago, I set aside guilt and shame to find the truth because it was my right to know as I learned that some severed connections could never be repaired. Every adoptee has a right to know the truth.
