Bio

Huge crazy music fan, Michel began in 1981 at the age of 16 his career in the media as radio host on Val de Loire radio station where he played lots of club hits which led him get close to the nightlife scene.

He discovered DJing while vacationing in Greece in 1985 and moved to Paris where he worked briefly for public radio France Inter before becoming director at electronic music station Radio FG at the times of its most memorable years from 1991 to 1994.

Years 1992 to 1995, Michel started his booking agency Out Soon Booking and worked for many well-known DJs as well as, on the side, organizing rave parties.

He joined labels Omnisonus and Apricot Records distributed by Polygram before they were sold to BMG in 1998.

In 2000, Michel was co-founder of the webradio Technotuner.

He was also in charge of digital marketing for distributor Nocturne and worked mostly on its comic strip / CD Jazz collection.

When Nocturne shut down, he joined the comic strip publisher Glénat where he was event manager until 2011.

Michel has been a long time close Collaborateur of former Minister of Culture Jack Lang, notably with all subjects about and around electronic music and was part of the small team that made Jack Lang set up the Parisian Techno Parade in 1996.

When Jack Lang, as head of the Institut du Monde Arabe, wished to incorporate electronic music performances in the museum show program, he turned to Michel for advice and connections.

Subsequently, Michel joined the company Surprize who owned the club Concrete and the Weather Festival where he was General secretary.
