Hello! My name is Melissa! I am a 24 yo living in Kansas!

I am passionate about using expressive arts to help people by building their self-esteem, developing creative coping strategies, and improving their self-expression/awareness!

I am also passionate about destigmatizing mental/behavioral health and advocating for people with disabilities, autistic people, and Deaf/HOH communities.

I identify with the people and the challenges within Adoptee communities. I'm currently working on navigating own identity as a transracial adoptee and am looking for role models and guidance!

I have personally completed a Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RODBT) skills training class and would love to have conversations around my experience and others' experience with DBT and other psychotherapies! Just finished a year-long training and am a DBT-Informed Music Therapist!

I hope to become more inspired by hearing others' stories and experiences while also empowering myself through sharing my own!
