Mark Sklawer on Clubhouse
Bio
Mark Sklawer is a lifelong Native New Yorker coming from a Jewish Cuban background. Mark cut his teeth with the early days of Hip Hop and Punk Rock and came of creative age during the Rave and Underground performance scenes of the Lower East Side and Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
His passion is the intersection of ancient myths and popular pop culture. His career started in the heady world of high end fashion Photography, he expanded into music both as a drummer and sound systems for dj’s. After marrying a prima ballerina Mark moved into avant guard theatre and was a pioneer in Immersive experiences that beget the influential Body Temple Company Ritual EDM Club experience.
His writings have led him to develop The Edge, a tv series that is the tale of the wild days on the unbridled spirit of pre 9/11 NYC.
