Mark August is a 🎬Producer , 🎥Cinematographer 🇺🇸 Military Veteran
🕶 Los Angeles
His experience in United States Navy of 25 years as a combat photographer behind a camera has sharpened his skills. A veteran of Desert Storm War in 1991 and Global War on Terrorism in Afghanistan 2001 & 2006. Mark has since retired in March 2015 with a Honorable Discharge, into retirement for the Armed Forces Reserves.
He is a current member of the camera guild local 600 (camera guild), founding member of the Digital Cinema Society, Hollywood American Legion Post 43 , and proud member of the Society of Camera Operators serving as the former President...
On the board of advisers for Wounded Eagle Foundation. (non-profit to help disabled military veterans)...
Mark just finishing filming the new hit series on History Channel “Assembly required” starring Tim Allen and Richard Karn.
Mark is currently producing a Western Feature film
