Hi, I’m Marcos and I’m so pleased to be supporting Wolo.

We came across Justin and Fler and their incredible work completely by chance and it couldn’t have happened at a better time. In October 2019 my life was turned upside-down when I was diagnosed with stage 4 liver cancer. I am so lucky to have such a supportive wife, Hannah and son Archie (5) and a really supportive family, but finding Wolo gave us an instant support network of others who knew exactly what we were going through. From the first time I met Justin, I knew we were like-minded people and their whole ethos really resonated with me. From the Wednesday runs with Justin, dropping over gifts for my son, or surprise food parcels – all these things made us feel like we aren’t alone in this. Their support and encouragement has meant so much to me and I am so honoured to be able to spread the word about Wolo to give something back to a charity who has given so much to me and my family.

My cancer journey is ongoing, but I know that I am strong and have the best support network behind me to get through whatever challenges I face.
