Bio

I’m just a guy.

I enjoy discussing the science, strategy, art, and philosophy of continual improvement. I am currently working as a Computer Numeric Control Machinist/ Programmer/ Designer in manufacturing R&D by night while also attempting entrepreneurship by day.

Thought provoking quotes:

“Becoming is better than being.”
-Carol Dweck

“Measure what is measurable, and make measurable what is not so.”
-Galileo Galilei

"Having no problems is the biggest problem of all."
-Taiichi Ohno

“I think, therefore I am.”
-René Descartes

“The whole is greater than the part.”
-Euclid’s common notations.

“I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together we can do great things.”
-Mother Teresa

“To infinity and beyond...”
-Buzz Lightyear

“If you think you can do a thing or you think you can’t do a thing l, you’re right.”
-Henry Ford

“It is apparent to me that the possibilities of the aeroplane, which two or three years ago were thought to hold the solution to the [flying machine] problem, have been exhausted, and that we must turn elsewhere.”
-Thomas Edison 1895

"If birds can glide for long periods of time, then… why can't I?"
-Orville Wright

“The sea's only gifts are harsh blows, and occasionally the chance to feel strong. Now I don't know much about the sea, but I do know that that's the way it is here. And I also know how important it is in life not necessarily to be strong but to feel strong. To measure yourself at least once. To find yourself at least once in the most ancient of human conditions. Facing the blind death stone alone, with nothing to help you but your hands and your own head.”
-Jon Krakauer

You are welcome to join me in any discussion. I admire a fresh perspective and I attempt to have an open mind.
