Kendrick is the Human Resources Engagement & Inclusion Lead for Bridgestone Americas, headquartered in Nashville, TN, where he’s responsible for advancing Bridgestone’s D&I strategy in leading and providing oversight for the company’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). An Alabama native, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from The University of Alabama in Huntsville, a Master of Public Administration from Tennessee State University and is a MBTI® Certified Practitioner.

Prior to joining Bridgestone, Kendrick led Community Engagement at Cummins Inc. While at Cummins, Kendrick served as the advisory board chair for McGavock High School’s Academy of Aviation and Transportation, earning the 2017 Academy Partnership of the Year in Engineering and the 2018 Academy of the Year. His professional experience includes learning and development roles across a few industries, including quick service retail, health care and manufacturing.

Kendrick is passionate about community service and helping others. He is an active supporter and volunteer for United Way, Second Harvest Food Bank, YMCA Achievers and Metro Nashville Public Schools. In addition to his PENCIL board membership, he currently serves as a member of both the Academies of Nashville Alignment Team and the MNPS Partnership Council.

Childhood literacy is a priority area for Kendrick’s advocacy. When time permits, he enjoys reading to pre-school children with the United Way Read to Succeed Project.
