I’m an artist.
I make art typically for parades like at Mardi Gras or in movies. I sculpt floats, design costumes, choreograph dancers and bring community together through parade krewes. I have two parading krewes: The Bearded Oysters and Krewe of Kolossos.
And my mom shot herself in the head and died recently.
It’s pivoted my interests and now I’m using my creative power to develop legislation to protect other families from the same trauma through gun laws reform.
I’m also funny AF and the words “trigger warning” trigger me.
