What Now?

It’s not often talked about what happens after breast cancer treatment ends. And yet in many ways this next stage of recovery can feel harder ( and lonelier ) than the treatment itself.

Hi! I’m Karin, Health Coach, Breast Cancer & BRCA2 Thriver and Bounce Back Expert.

I remember sitting in my doctors office and hearing the words “see you in 6 months” and from the bottom of my gut, I started uncontrollably sobbing. We hugged, for what seemed like a lifetime and I cried to her and said “I’m not ready to break up with you yet!”.

- Confused... surely I was supposed to be jumping for joy??

- Afraid... who’s going to guide me now? What if I screw up? What am I supposed to do now? What if I get sick again?

- Instantly alone, even though my amazing hubby was with me!

It felt like I was now walking a tight rope with no net to catch me.

What I realized over the coming weeks as I continued to go on a roller coaster ride of emotions... is that, if I was feeling this way, how many other women felt this too?

It’s this journey, combined with my 20 years of experience working in the health and wellness fields that makes me uniquely qualified to help women at this crucial stage of their recovery.

I guide women through life after treatment has ended. Showing them how simply rethinking some daily habits can help boost their recovery while simultaneously reducing their risk of recurrence!
