Kamal Kaur is a third-generation Kenyan, a mother of two young adults, and has been in the media industry for over two decades. She has written for Nation newspaper, The Star and various other national and international publications.

She was a radio presenter at the Radio Africa Group for over twelve years, has published two coffee table books that she wrote and edited, while working on a third edition.

Kamal is currently a media consultant, digital media manager, and brand influencer, and lives in Nairobi, Kenya.

Besides media, Kamal paints and teaches art to beginners who want to learn the basics of creativity in this field.
