Breakthrough ideas come to those who are curious - and curiosity arises from wonderment. Kids see wonder everywhere. But in a culture that derides adults who let themselves be wonderstruck, we must actively cultivate and nurture our susceptibility, or it withers away.
Rituals that reliably spark wonder in me include walking in wilderness, taking photographs, brainstorming and experimenting, and encountering the revelations of science and the arts.
My purpose is to live a life of creative engagement and camaraderie, and I’m passionate about encouraging the creativity of others. So… what #strikesWonder in you?
