20 Years in the Beauty Industry | After working as a certified nail technician, founder Jenny Duranski became ill from working with the toxic products. She began to research all-natural, organic and vegan alternatives, plus determine which ingredients were harmful. In 2013, her research led to founding Noktivo, Chicago’s first and only healthy nail salon.

Featured in multiple leading publications and national stages, Jenny has gained vast credibility in the beauty industry.

A business member and supporter of the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, Jenny traveled to Washington D.C. with the organization to lobby in 2016. She shared her personal story with legislators as a professional in the field and discussed why laws need to be written regarding the safety of products beauty industry professionals work with every day.

In December 2016, Jenny founded her second beauty brainchild, Lena Rose, named after her daughter. It is the first green beauty boutique and green spa in Chicago, focusing on vegan, clean, “farm-to-facial” services and products that are 100% safe for people and planet.

In April 2020, Jenny launched the Lena Rose House Line of handmade beauty products made from all-natural ingredients crafted in the Lena Rose HQ Lab.
