My name is Javier Baca and I’m a music industry professional, with over 19 years of experience.
Currently, I am the head of Sync Department for Warner Chappell Music México. Plugging the catalog in movies, series, ads and also expanding Creative Services and business opportunities for the Artists / Producers / Composers in the publisher.
As for my own background, my experience in the industry is quite diverse. I have a degree in Contemporary Popular Music from the Fermatta Music Academy, an institution affiliated with Berkley College of Music. I developed my career as an A&R at EMI Music México and Universal Music México. I personally launched a number of successful albums including Zoé MTV Unplugged, Caifanes 2010 Tribute, among others. I also coordinated the art and repertoire for artists like Moderatto, Eugenia Leon, Angeles Negros, and Enjambre. In addition, I worked as an artistic coordinator in Westwood Entertainment. There, I launched Natalia Lafourcade and Jesse & Joy’s careers, by making tours in Central and South America, as well as in the US.
I founded Carrusel Music Solutions, a company dedicated to Musical Branding, Music Supervising, and Licensing.
I frequently collaborate with Cocolab as well, with which I have worked on projects like Inspark and Timbiriche Juntos Tour in 2017.
