After surviving Kidney Cancer I realized I wanted to do more than just photography and opened Atfluence.
I left one of the longest running careers shooting for Neiman Marcus to start Amazon Fashion. Jeff Bezos said “Moritz & Co has set new standards for photography and video which has changed the direction of Amazon and will be rolled out to all Amazon owned companies globally.”
I grew up in a tiny town in Texas and always dreamed of shooting movies and becoming a photographer in New York. My parents drilled a hard work ethic into me and I was young enough to know I could do it. I had a lot of help and assisted some of the big names in photography before I was hired by Neimans.
I’ve always been able to visualize brands and have a knack for executing concepts and organizing people within budgets of time and money.
Just before I turned 30 I realized I had a drinking problem and was lucky enough to find AA which taught me how to live. If you know the principals of recovery then you know who I am. I am honest even when it is difficult, I am always willing to help anyone that asks, I try not to judge anyone or anything, I respect others even if I don’t agree with them. I am grateful for each and every day that I am alive and all the people in my life.
Over a decade ago my partner Doug Hill quit a very successful career to come to work with me and build our brand which has evolved into The Atfluence Agency.
We work with many of the premier luxury brands as well as emerging brands to watch.
